Financial Assistance and Grants to Sports Associations/ Clubs/ Sports Committees of Uttarakhand
The scheme aims to provide financial support or grants to recognized sports associations, clubs, and committees in the state for organizing sports competitions and for purchasing sports equipment for associations and players at the national, state, and district levels.
What you get
Recognized associations, clubs, and sports committees will receive financial assistance as follows:
- National-level competitions: ₹3.50 lakh
- State-level competitions: ₹2.50 lakh
- District-level competitions: ₹1.00 lakh
Additionally, there is a provision to provide ₹2.50 lakh to players selected to represent at the international level.
Who can apply
- The recognized Sports Associations, Clubs, and Sports Committees in Uttarakhand are eligible to receive financial assistance or grants under this scheme.
How to apply
Offline
- Recognized associations, clubs, sports societies, and selected international-level players may apply for grants using the prescribed format, as per departmental rules.
- Sports associations, clubs, and committees in Uttarakhand are provided grants and financial assistance for organizing sports competitions and purchasing sports equipment, benefiting approximately 20 associations, committees, and players throughout the year.
Documents to carry
Submission of documents is required in accordance with the department's guidelines to avail the benefits of the scheme.
