Girl Education Promotion (Bicycle Scheme)

• Each eligible girl student in class 9 receives ₹2,850/-.
• The benefit includes a bicycle for plain areas and an FD (Fixed Deposit) worth ₹2,850/- for hilly areas.

1. The applicant must be a girl student studying in Class 9.
   1. The applicant must be enrolled in a government or government-aided non-government secondary school under the Uttarakhand Board.

Offline

• The Uttarakhand Board provides bicycles/FDs to schools based on the number of girl students enrolled in Class 9 in government and government-aided secondary schools.
• The schools then distribute the bicycles/FDs to the enrolled girl students.
• No student is required to apply for this scheme.

The scheme "Girl Education Promotion (Bicycle Scheme)" is implemented by the Secondary Education Department under the Department of Education, Government of Uttarakhand.
